For each arpeggio, I’ll recommend one or more ways that you can use it for both written solos and improvised solos.
Minor
The minor arpeggio formula is 1-b3-5.
Applying this to an A minor arpeggio gives you the notes A-C-E.
Play this arpeggio over minor chord types, and in minor keys.
Major
The major arpeggio formula is 1-3-5.
Applying this to an A major arpeggio gives you the notes A-C#-E.
Play this arpeggio over major chord types, and in major keys.
Diminished
The diminished arpeggio formula is 1-b3-b5.
Applying this to an A diminished arpeggio gives you the notes A-C-Eb.
Play this arpeggio over diminished chord types, and from the 7th degree of any major scale.
Augmented
The augmented arpeggio formula is 1-3-#5.

Sus2
The suspended 2 arpeggio formula is 1-2-5.
Applying this to an Asus2 arpeggio gives you the notes A-B-E.
